This Privacy Policy explains how WeWaive ApS ("WeWaive," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data relating to our business customers (subscribing companies) and their authorized account contacts, when you use WeWaive's website, app, or platform.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data about our business customers' account contacts:

  • Account & contact data: name, business email address, phone number, job title, business name, business address
  • Billing data: billing address, payment method details (processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers)
  • Subscription & usage data: subscription tier, billing history, login activity, device/browser type, app usage logs
  • Support data: any information provided when contacting customer support
  • Technical data: IP address, device identifiers, log data (see also our Cookie Policy)

4. Who We Share Data With

We share personal data only with:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe or equivalent), to process subscription payments
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers, to operate the platform
  • Analytics providers, to understand platform usage (see Cookie Policy)
  • Professional advisors (accountants, auditors, lawyers), where necessary
  • Authorities, where required by law

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. International Data Transfers

Where any service provider is located outside the EU/EEA, we ensure an appropriate legal transfer mechanism is in place (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. Data Retention

We retain account and billing data for as long as the subscription is active, and for up to 5 years afterward to comply with Danish bookkeeping law (bogføringsloven). Support correspondence is retained for up to 2 years after resolution, unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to our legal retention obligations)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk
